Description
Our goal was simple: Make a very light, very comfortable seat post. Achieving that goal was extremely hard, it’s only after two years of hard work that we are satisfied with the result.
All comfort seatposts face the same issue - the more they extend out of the frame, the more they bend. But let's be real, that's not what we want, especially for our taller (and heavier) riders who don't need a flimsy seat post. That's where the Mandibula comes in. It's split into two zones: the power zone and the comfort zone. The power zone is tough and lightweight, ensuring minimal flex no matter how far it extends. And the comfort zone? Well, it's all about giving you just the right amount of comfort without going overboard.
THM's innovative lay-up keeps the seat level during flexing, unlike traditional flex seatposts. Plus, its compact build fits easily on smaller frames and those with a horizontal top tube. The exclusive carbon layup absorbs vibrations for a smoother ride at high speeds or on bumpy terrain. Say goodbye to fatigue and hello to extended, more comfortable rides!
THM's lay-up, manufacturing process and structural details (like the rail clamp mechanism) make the Mandibula seat post impressively light at just 159 g. Even with its comfort features, it's lighter than most other seat posts. And it can support riders up to 110 kg. Talk about engineering!
The THM seatpost is approved for a total weight (bike+rider+luggage) up to 110 kg (242 lbs.) and can be used on road, gravel, cyclocross and cross-country and MTB bikes.
