This past weekend IMBA’s Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day took place across the country. Our local IMBA chapter, the NWTA, hosted the event on the Cascade Locks International Mountain Bike trail and it was an absolute blast!
Families showed up from all over the PNW and some even stayed the evening, tent or van camping at choice spots around the park. All the families were looking out for each others’ children to ensure everyone was safe and having fun. Simply put – only the best folks show up to events like this!
One last thing – the volunteer work was an impressive sight with lots of help coming from the community and local businesses. Several shops and bike industry companies were out there and I even found a Hopworks keg hiding in the shadows. Thanks to all who helped organize and support such a great family event. If you weren’t able to join us, we hope to see you out there next year!
Browse through the photos below and email me directly with the picture number/file name and I can send you a high quality version of a photo to have printed out! If you’ve never done this before, its pretty easy and I can refer you to a couple places who do good work for cheap!
