This week we want to highlight one of our favorite Moots builds to date. Scott’s Routt 45 takes what is often the most overlooked bike in the stable – the commuter – and elevates it to a level of refinement typically reserved for race bikes. The result is a stunning balance of beauty and performance.
Enve doesn’t make a fork with fender mounts. So we called on our friends at Ruckus Composites and took a trip across town. Not long after that, we had an Enve CX Disc fork with full fender mounts complete with a super clean finish, providing the perfect home for a pair of custom black anodized PDW Full Metal Fenders.
The drivetrain on this build is a mix of Dura-Ace 9000 and RS785, for what is arguably the most refined and reliable shifting/braking performance on the market. And how about those wheels – Enve XC rims laced by our own True Love Wheels with Sapim CX-Ray spokes to DT Swiss 240s centerlock hubs, wrapped with lightweight 38c tires (Compass Barlow Pass Extralight) setup tubeless – what more could you ask for?
In the end, this bike is about more than details – riding is believing. When you experience the superior braking, effortless shifting, silky-smooth bearings and refined ride quality of this exceptional hand-crafted frame, you begin to understand what custom bike love is all about. The whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts.

I love Moots
Gorgeous build! Curious how the Enve fork was modified to include the fender mounts. Can you share any detail on that?
Amazing looking bike!
Almost afraid to ask but this buildout for a 60cm price?
