We know there are a lot of Mach 6 owners out there, and most of them like to get dirty! We are far from late summer’s drought, and we’re shipping these Mudhugger kits to folks all over the country. That’s why we thought our followers would like to see some installation examples. Without further introduction, here is a Mach 6 install with a lightly modified rear fender.
This install was pretty straight forward. Its a 27.5″ bike, so we used the 26 & 27.5″ rear fender as the 29″ would have almost been too long. We did shorten the non-drive side rear fender mount by about an inch to clear a hose mount. These are customizable by design, allowing a perfect fit with minimal work. Plenty of room was left for the 27.5 x 2.2″ Kenda Honey Badger.
The front fender provided plenty of clearance for the 27.5 x 2.35 Kenda Nevegal and was mounted to a Fox 34 fork. The four velcro straps, two on the crown and one on each lower, were trimmed down for aesthetics. Also, the front fender is a universal size, fitting anything from 26″ to 29″.
