For 2014 Pinarello revised their Rokh adding their innovative Think2 cable ports (also featured here) and improving the carbon layup. A result of extensive computer modeling, the new layup schedule arranges carbon where you need it and and not where you don’t. That’s the idea behind their asymmetrical design concept.
The final product is a fantastically smooth frameset built for gran fondos and those long rides where comfort makes or breaks the experience.
Another noteworthy detail – The Rokh is the little brother of the Dogma K, Pinarello’s high-end race machine built for pros to fly over the cobbles in the spring time. The Dogma K was developed with rider input from Team Sky.
The money saving difference stems from the Rokh’s utilization of 30HM12k (30.12) carbon versus the more expensive 60HM1k (60.1) carbon fiber found in the Dogma K. All this completes a package that costs less than the Dogma K frameset, making this an amazing bike at an equally great price.
We have a full size run and every color available, ready to ride. Shimano’s 6800 series Ultegra 11s drivetrain and a set of Fulcrum’s well known Racing 5 wheels round out this build. Electronic conversions are easily performed utilizing Pinarello’s Think2 universal frame ports. Come take one for a spin and tell us what you think!
Nice…every color of the Pinarello rainbow. This should make some kids happy when they wake up Christmas morning.
